Dr. Karun Pathak, B.A. (Hons.), Pg. Dip., Ph.D.
Founder & Director of Learning

Dr. Karun Pathak is the Founder & Director of Learning at The Flawless Academy! Karun earned his B.A. from the University of Toronto, going on to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Biotechnological Law and Ethics from the University of Sheffield, and a Ph.D. in the Philosophy of Moral Psychology from the University of Bristol. Karun has extensive teaching experience; he has not only taught at the primary and junior levels, but also at the post-secondary level (University of Bristol, University of the West of England, University of Guelph-Humber, and Humber College).

Karun takes a creative, comical, and philosophical approach to teaching. He believes that life is about endless learning, and teaching is about awakening the natural learner and seeker within the minds of students. Karun has seen fantastic success with this method of teaching delivery!

Navjot Pathak, B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A
Senior Instructor (S.T.E.M) & Business Development Manager

Navjot Pathak is a certified high school teacher and a Senior Instructor & Business Development Manager. Currently, she is working as a Compensation Analyst for an analytics company, OSL. Formerly, Navjot was employed as a Professor of Mathematics at several post-secondary institutions.  Navjot obtained a Masters in Mathematics and Statistics from York University.  Prior to that degree, she did a Bachelors of Education and a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.   She has been teaching for many years, and it has been a wonderful experience.  She taught for two years at the high school level and for one year at the university level.  Now, she is teaching college students and tutoring.

Dr. Pardip Gill, B.Sc., MD 
Instructor & Director of Medical Education Pathways

As a healthcare professional with over 10 years of patient care, research and medical education experience, Pardip’s desire to educate others goes in hand with his thirst for knowledge. Graduating in Life Sciences at The University of Toronto, he traveled abroad to achieve his Doctor of Medicine and spent several postgraduate years in the United State before returning to Canada during the Covid-19 pandemic. He has an extensive teaching history including high school & college students who are now respectable healthcare professionals, including physicians. He has also assisted medical students achieve formidable scores on the physician board licensing exams required to practice medicine. He hopes to be a mentor and pass on his knowledge to others who also share the same passion for science. Hakuna Matata.

Neville O'Sullivan, B.Sc., MASc
Instructor - Mathematics & Physics

Neville O'Sullivan has a B.Sc. in Physics, an MASc in Health Physics, and works as a Health Physicist in the Nuclear Power industry. In addition to his academic and professional experience, he also has over 10 years of experience tutoring Mathematics and Physics at the high school and undergraduate levels.

Abigail Tadigadapa, B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Sc.
Instructor - Mathematics, Biology & Biochemistry

Abigail Tadigadapa has a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences, and an MSc in Microbiology & Cell Science. She is currently pursuing a B.Ed degree specializing in Elementary Education and hopes to be teaching in classrooms very soon. In addition to her academic and practicum experiences, she has tutored students from Gr. 1-12 for 7 years. Her instruction incorporates student voice and choice in the process by inviting students to identify learning goals for the session through self-reflection. Starting with a check-in and using analogies, she establishes pedagogical relationships and a successful learning environment for students.

Melina Kurera
Junior Instructor - French

Bonjour from Melina Kurera, our part-time Junior Instructor in French. Melina has over a year of experience working with a group of dedicated elementary students who aspire to learn the French language. Melina has prepared and delivered various lessons, which include both oral and written activities in French, and she has guided numerous students, beginners and advanced students, in their journey in learning the French language. Melina has studied French for over twelve years, and has will be continuing her post-secondary education pursuing a specialist degree in French history.
